Added share links: hand a single file to someone without an account, valid only until it expires. When logging in is the only way in, “I just need to show this one document to a client” has no answer — and people end up turning the protection off. This is that escape hatch, done safely.
- Choose a lifetime of 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days. Once it expires, the link stops working.
- A share link is the file’s normal URL plus a signature. Because the signature covers both the file path and the expiry, it cannot be reused for another file, nor can the deadline be extended by editing the URL.
- Added a “Share link” action to the media library rows; the settings screen accepts an attachment ID directly.
- “Revoke all share links” replaces the signing key, invalidating every link issued so far at once.
The generated link is shown only once — it is deliberately kept out of browser history and server logs — so copy it right away.
