One batch of the library audit is now measured in time rather than in files: about five seconds, or a thousand attachments, whichever comes first. A slow host covers fewer per press and a fast one covers more, and neither is asked for something it cannot finish.
- Each batch says how many it managed and whether it stopped on the clock or on the count, so a small number is legible as a busy server rather than as a scan that gave up.
- This release also carries every change from 1.64.0 to 1.73.0, which were not released on their own on WordPress.org.
