Medifence can now email you when the protection stops working (off by default). The admin notice and Site Health both assume someone is looking, and a break that automatic repair cannot fix stays there until somebody logs in.
- The daily check sends one message when the verdict changes — repeating it every day would only train you to ignore it.
- It sends one more when the protection works again, so you can confirm the fix.
- A live test that could not reach your site at all is never reported: a momentary network failure must not read as “your media are exposed”.
- The address can be set separately from the site administrator’s, and a test email can be sent from the settings screen.
