WP Notepad 1.3.0 is out, greatly improving note usability and block configurability.
New features
- Character counter: shows the character count below the textarea (widget and block).
- Save indicator: briefly shows “Saved” after storing, announced to assistive tech via
aria-live. - Clear button: empties the note after confirmation and removes the stored data.
- Expanded block supports: color, typography, spacing and alignment via editor controls.
- Block settings sidebar: placeholder, minimum height, maximum characters and counter visibility.
Other
- Added deprecations so blocks saved by earlier versions keep working.
